time and tide wait not for me!!!

So trying to get a shot of the boats moored at night. Set the timer, line it up, push the button and what happens???? the tide changes and the boat moves, gently swinging round on its anchor. I thought oh dear try again! Untill i got it home and looked at it on the computer and discovered the boat became almost ghostly in the freeze frame image.
I do not always get to check my site every day , so i apologise for not commenting immediately,but i do generally check in 3-5 times a week so your comments are always viewed and appreciated.
