Moeraki HubPosted by Maxine (Rangiora, New Zealand) on 2 October 2008 in Lifestyle & Culture. This is of a tiny township called Moeraki, it was originally a fishing village but now it is the restaurant Fleurs place that draws people in. This restaurant has a worldwide following - known for fresh local fish and also muttonbirds. The restaurant is the large grey building at the beginning of the wharf it used to be the fish processing shed. This is very close to where the Moeraki boulders are found, over the next few days i will show you these fascinating quirks of nature. I do not always get to check my site every day , so i apologise for not commenting immediately, but i do generally check in 3-5 times a week so your comments are always viewed and appreciated. Thank you for checking out my photos, please give constructive criticism as i want to learn from you wonderful people.
