the coastline of birth

This is a view up the coast line where the moeraki boulders are. in the distance you can see little mounds of rock amongst the sand. Over the next week i will walk you up to these amazing rocks and show you how they emerge.

I do not always get to check my site every day , so i apologise for not commenting immediately,but i do generally check in 3-5 times a week so your comments are always viewed and appreciated. That sky is really mesmerizing Max, I was kind of in a dreamlike state whilst I was looking at it. Beatuiful scenery and a lovely landscape capture!

@Observing: Yes i must admit you are drawn straight to the boulders and for once in my life i left a beach with only my camera gear, no stones, shells ,feathers or driftwood !!!

Wonderful composition! I love the large grasses in the foreground and the tiny people on the beach - really establishes a sense of distance and space.

@willow: The grass or TOI TOI (toy toy) as we pronounce it is a native, similar to pampas grass. I am glad you could see every thing including the "little people" !!!

I delare this image as your best !! (as of yet...), and that's why I clicked on the 5 stars for you...

The fluffy grass in the foreground... the curve of the beach... and the strong sky, make it for me (... or maybe because I'm listening to Enigma right now... awesome group, you ought to try it.. )
