Who I am

I really worried about what to do for this , and then decided to just show you who I am , I am a painter at heart. I love abstract and impressionist styles, but no two of my paintings are similar. This one is the latest one to be completed and it is my impression of music. The single thread of a peice of music is the melody,and it expands and narrows according to the swell of instruments and sound , the colors signify the richness and depth of tone. So, i paint , take photos ,sculpt in other words i am ARTY FARTY and loving it. I am a nurse, have worked as a landscape designer for 9 yrs, baked for a tearooms ,been a farmers wife and am a mother of three gorgeous girls. I have found the most wonderful fella to spend my life with and Richard shares and supports me in all of my hobbies. I love to hop in the car and explore this wonderful country New Zealand, it always amazes and excites me, and it feeds my soul. So there i am in a nut shell ! I thoroughly enjoy talking to you all and learning alongside you, and i hope that this selfportrait day draws us all closer and gives us all insight into who we all are. Thanks to DJ for daring us to do this, and also for doing it first to lead the way. bravo dJ!!!
