Burrholes in the rockPosted by Maxine (Rangiora, New Zealand) on 12 December 2008 in Landscape & Rural. This was taken with the telephoto lens across the valley to the opposite side. The shrubs growing inside the cavitys and crevices were about 1.5metres tall. I love the hole created by water I presume many thousands of years ago.
