Bridge over glacier river.

This is the Fox river bridge. The Fox river comes from the Fox Glacier, which is only a few kms, up river from here. I love the bouldered riverbeds and this image to me is grey rounds with grey straights lines. Man v Nature , both work and both complement each other.

I do not always get to check my site every day , so i apologise for not commenting immediately,but i do generally check in 3-5 times a week so your comments are always viewed and appreciated. @MrsAmber: Yes they are fascinating, I have yet to get up onto the glacier - one day.

That's a really nice shot Max, I bet there are loads of fossils around there..... does the glacier melt in summer ?

@Observing: its always melting slowly I am afraid. I have often thought i would like to go fossil hunting but dont know enough about what to look for.

@jamesy: If you turn off as soon as you get on to the glacier road there is a parking bay.I had never stopped there before either, tomorrows shot is from the same spot looking up stream.
