I like this Maxine. The horizontal crop and lighting give this photo a sense of mystery. What lies at the end of that road up ahead? Nicely done.

@rhinohawk: Hi there Rhinohawk ! yes it has worked out quite well , the crop in particular.

MaryP from Aberdeenshire, United Kingdom

Lovely bit of lighting in this image. The power lines do catch the eye. They look frosted. The overall effect is that of a very cold early morning/evening. Well done.

@MaryP: It was tha atfernoon I chased the storm and at this stage it was dark and ominous but sun was hitting the powerlines. Thanks Mary for your neat comment.

@willow: Very different from yesterdays but shot on the same afternoon, thanks Willow!

Pradeep from Chennai, India

Very intense and full of drama. Fabulous shot. Yes, the power lines really draws your eye in. How did you get them like that?
:)

2 Nov 2008 6:59pm

@Pradeep: It was the storm passing over with the sun at a low angle just out of the cloud. Luck really!

Ross Collins from Wellington, New Zealand

Nice shot. The 'vanishing point' convergence of the power lines and the road edge line, and the mystery created by the low light make this image for me.

23 Nov 2008 8:32pm

@Ross Collins: Thanks Ross! I find i have an affinity with powerpoles of all things!
