jamesy from christchurch, New Zealand

having just viewed both Max I definitly prefer it in colour

15 Feb 2009 8:25am

@jamesy: Its funny, i still like the greens, because i am a color girl, but the B&W still works too, very different.

Giovanni from Milan, Italy

I prefer b&w! Love the textures and the silouhettes!

15 Feb 2009 9:41am

@Giovanni: Yes it is more graphic, but soft i think.

zahai from Berlin, Germany

oooh, i definitely like the bw one better...the contrast makes the image fascinating and ... i don't know, might be i'm just a bw-person, but i love the way the shades of green turned out in grey :)

15 Feb 2009 11:29am

@zahai: Yes i thought there was such a lovely tonal range in this one also.

Charles from New York, United States

I am leaning toward the black and white also. Love the light and shades of grey.

15 Feb 2009 12:29pm

@Charles: I think its the tones of grey that make it work. Thanks Charles!

Kent from Kvänum, Sweden

Beautiful image. It´s great in black and white

15 Feb 2009 12:55pm

@Kent: hi Kent, thanks, i think I like both, cannot decide.

Earnest from Oklahoma, United States

This one is about form, the previous one about color and form... I love the greens of yesterday's photo.

15 Feb 2009 2:33pm

@Earnest: Earnest you are like me, I love color, but i have grown to appreciate the tonal ranges in a B&W. i really cant choose.

Bertrand Duhamel from Granby, Canada

Both images are beautiful but i would say that i prefer the colored one because of the subject.

15 Feb 2009 2:48pm

@Bertrand Duhamel: Yes I suppose that is the best way of choosing, I still prefer the color, but appreciate the B&W also, as it is graphic.

mellofello from United Kingdom

Strange how the b/w makes it look sort of earie; like 'The deep dark wood'. but I love it just the same.

15 Feb 2009 6:58pm

@mellofello: yes me too I really cannot choose, i love them both!

manel from Girona, Spain

Hola Maxine. Soy un enamorado del B&N, pero me gusta más la de ayer. Encuentro que esta foto no es muy apropiada para el monocrom.
Saludos.

Kenton from Calgary, Canada

Hmmm, I like both. I like the colour one for all of the different shades of green. I like this one for the lighting and all of the highlights and shadows it produces.

16 Feb 2009 3:10am

@Kenton: i am the same, each has there merits.

EYES WIDE SHUT from The library of my soul, United Kingdom

I like both very much, so I going to sit happily on the fence of indecision he he
